My camera image has turned upside down since I installed Win 10 as well I guess our only hope is that Microsoft issue a generic driver at some point via Ipdate that solves the problem ‘cos ASUS don’t seem that interested. Unfortunately, now it’s August and it’s still happening. Thanks for marking this as the answer.

Built-in webcam in ASUS K52F disappeared

Don’t know why 10 people found this helpful as it does not give me the answer. Tell us about your experience with our cakera. I wanted to like Windows 10, unfortunately, different things keep confirming my 13 year old sons skepticism about it.


I have an Asus K52F laptop which was running Windows 7 perfectly. Did this solve your problem? There is no yellow mark anywhere could have been in the USB section for example.

I have searched the web far and wide for a solution but the only advice I found was to check the device manager for a yellow warning sign in imaging devices and then reinstall the driver. Now looking more into my laptop I found that not all has disappeared. It is an N61Jq. I did not find anything in the Admin tools of Windows 7 which would allow me to manipulate this controller.

I found stuff related to the webcam drivers in the system info and, as I wrote, there is a related controller mentioned in the info as “halted” but I have no idea how to change this status. I have the same question Hopefully somewhere here there’s a fix How satisfied are you with this response?

I’ve never heard of this type of problem. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number. Downloaded and reinstalled the latest camera driver was a driver from asus support website. It’s camerra throwing a bomb on your house because you can’t open your door lock anymore. When I installed the full version of Windows 10 the webcam image is upside down. Now the camera displays perfect degrees upside down.
