I’ll try the conventional memory tricks too, the game aladdin needs it anyway edit: Any thoughts on why keen works when the windows driver for the soundcard is uninstalled?
Don’t think any driver I downloaded has been a different one than those two. Then I installed soundcard drivers in windows ones that didn’t say WDM and restarted.

I like the mixer tool, it works great and makes it easy to create a simple auciodriver file to get the card going. This is es where PnP cards are detected and displayed, so it may be a PnP card. It gives you a message about es18869 and that you need to use ICU software. Or change D1 to D0. A lack of available conventional memory may cause the sound to not work in DOS games, even if it works fine in Windows.
Rem’ing the DOS driver lines from autoexec. Since it have a Wavetable, does anyone know a good daughterboard that Ess es audio can buy from Ebay?

Ess es audio SB Pro emulation play only 8bit sound, not 16bit.
