The sound is good for the low price of the unit, but that being said, it has too much hiss for my ears recording a nylon string guitar using a stereo mic. No ac adapter needed, just plug in the USB cable and the unit is on. I sold it because I can now record directly into my new computer without a small interface like this out. The headphones were nice because I could monitor the tracks. So far so good.

This should keep me going in home recording for a long time! That being said, for this price I wouldn’t expect to get anything more than this. It is mobilepee removable card with phantom power drawn directly from the USB that’s coolso no need to drag a transformer.

The hard part was getting the Pro Tools software to recognize it.
