And it will not show up in itunes so if I want to burn a disk i must boot up in 9. Does anybody know how to get cw-5786 working with iTunes1.

Even though the new LG was set as Master and the hp as slave, it would show in device manager as being correct, dma was matahita, and it was reading correctly, howveer in my burning software, even after scanning for new drives with Nero, the HP was the only drive available to cr-rw with. I’d try uninstalling it in Device Manager and rebooting. I am not sure which not so recognised brand of burner my friend had sounds similar to the one he had.
